Carers for Care Home near Milton Keynes



We are looking for Care Assistant (m/f) for a Care Home located in the quaint market town of Olney, nearby to Milton Keynes, Northampton and Bedford. Milton Keynes is situated 40-50 min by direct bus from London-Luton airport and 2h from Stansted airport.
Care Home is privately owned and offers care home services for 40 residents and specialises in dementia care. It focuses to provide a safe, homely environment where each resident is treated as an individual with their social, spiritual, cultural, emotional and physical needs being assessed and met by a competent trained care team.

Conditions offered:
• Permanent contract
• Salary of £7.50 on day shifts and £8.10 on night shifts and extra payment on weekends
• Contract of 35 hours per week with extra hours available
• Permanent accommodation, close to Care Home
• 5 ½ weeks per year holiday paid in addition
• 2 weeks of Induction (initial training)
• Continuous training and career development to senior positions

Requirements:
• Minimum B1 level of English
• Caring attitude, empathy, patience, kindness, understanding of holistic care
• Passport or EU driving license
• Long term commitment, for at least 2 years or longer
